The actress moved to Los Angeles after graduating from University of Texas in order to pursue a career as an actress professionally. She began her acting career as a print model, and was featured in a variety of commercials. Her debut on TV was an extra in the TV show Friday Night Lights. Her first appearance was in small role in TV shows like A Thin Line Supah Ninjas & How I Met Your Mother.
