Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. She appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up show in the year 2011, following appearances in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British series since the year 2009. In 2012, she started to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear regularly in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she was awarded the So You think You're Funny Award twice. Bea is her name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. The father of her Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea was only three years old. She was not told what happened to him until she reached the age of 13. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. She wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience dealing with suicide. Bea's mom Helen She is an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was in charge of taking care of her and Sinead. She and her family loved racing, horses and racing. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the racing industry wasn't for her.
